NNEC is welcoming Jerold “J.T.” Terry as its new manager, human resources. In this position, Terry will provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure that NNEC is continually acquiring, engaging, and developing talent to support the current and future needs of the co-op.

Terry comes to NNEC from Texas where he has worked in human resources for over 20 years, including more than 10 at the largest electric cooperative in the country. Most recently, Terry served as the human resources, recruiting manager of Disability Rights Texas.

He is a senior certified professional from the Society of Human Resource Management, and he holds two doctorates and several other degrees and certifications. He has served on the advisory board of the Northwestern Lineman’s College.

“J.T. brings a tremendous amount of experience and knowledge to NNEC,” says Valerie Hinson, vice president, corporate services. “He is essential to maintain our co-op as a great place to have a career and to find the new talent to carry us into the future.”
