Payment Programs & Assistance

As a community-focused electric cooperative, we understand that unexpected financial challenges can affect anyone. We always seek to ensure that all our members have reliable access to electricity, regardless of their financial circumstances. That’s why we offer a range of payment assistance programs and flexible payment arrangements to support those in need. Whether you require a bit more time to settle your bill or need help from local assistance programs, we’re here to help you keep the lights on.

Payment Arrangements
Need additional time to pay your bill? You may qualify for a payment arrangement.

• A payment arrangement gives a member up to 10 additional days to pay their bill.
• Members are allowed up to four payment arrangements in a 12-month period.
• Payment arrangements are subject to eligibility.

Energy Assistance

If you have trouble paying your electric bill and need assistance, contact your local 211 for help. Dial 2-1-1 or visit 211virginia.org.
