The major duties of this job are to enhance the safety of the employees of Northern Neck Electric Cooperative (the Cooperative) and the general public and to plan, direct, and coordinate clearing and maintenance of the Cooperative’s right-of-way.  Right of way management will include the administration of the clearing and vegetation management of new and existing right of way by the Cooperative and contract crews to ensure that work is done in compliance with Cooperative standards and that applicable safety and environmental rules are followed.  Duties will also include conducting monthly safety meetings and performing line crew safety inspections.

Must have an associate degree in forestry, horticulture or related field.  Must also have a minimum of five years progressive experience in forestry work applicable to an electric utility and experience in administering a corporate safety program.  Salary commensurate with experience.  Excellent fringe benefits.  This institution is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer.
